It is an electromechanical device which, connected to any engine control unit, allows to supply a DIGITAL signal (double digital output, normally open contact) or ANALOG signal (single analog output 1.5-2.5-3.5 V) both for the upshift function “CUT-OFF” and “BLIPPER” function for assisted downshifting where it is possible.

SP electronics offers two different models of electronic gear sensors for cars:

• Quick Shifter Knob sensor, double DIGITAL output
• Quick Shifter Knob sensor, single ANALOG output

It is applicable on all types of sequential gearboxes used in Racing Cars or in vehicles with Motorcycle engines.

The main features are:

• Stainless steel internal mechanics with M14 external thread and M10 internal thread.
• POM (polyoxymethylene) anti-slip external mechanical.
• Activation force in both directions equal to 10 Kg.
• Wiring resistant to engine temperatures, oil and hydrocarbons.
• Waterproof, water-resistant automotive connectors (NOT by immersion) and vibration.
• Dimensions 127×39 mm of maximum diameter / weight 200 gr.
